Josh Yandt is known as The Doorman. As a young man, after being depressed and bullied, he chose to not be invisible and began holding open the door for friends at his new school.  He took the “small” action to hold the door open for all the students. At first the kids at his new school looked at him quizzically, unsure of his motives. But then, as others grew comfortable with his actions, and greeted his open door with a smile, his simple act of kindness changed the culture of his school.
